2012 Volleyball Season:
The Platte City Parks and Recreation Department offers 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade instructional volleyball. The program run's for 6 weeks and is designed strictly to introduce the kids the basic Volleyball fundamentals of serving, passing, and setting the ball. Some games will be played from time to time, but most of the time will be spent on practicing fundimentals. There will be a Jamboree held on the sixth week for the kids and their families.
Our goals are to insure each child has an opportunity to learn and practice the fundamentals of Volleyball, play a few games, and most of all have FUN.
Dates:
Most generally the 3rd and 4th grade play on Tuesday nights and the 5th and 6th grade will play on Wednesday nights (this could change depending on the number of kids that sign up). Start times could also vary depending on the location (6:30 - 8:00 PM or 6:30 to 8:30 PM).

- Season ends -- November 14, 2012
