The Finance Officer is responsible for paying all the City’s payables in a timely manner. This person assists in preparation and administering of the Budget and prepares bi-weekly statements for the Board of Aldermen. The Finance Officer monitors all outgoing monies from each City Department, reconciles the Bank Statement and invests City funds. In addition, the Finance Officer prepares payroll for City personnel.
