Street Condition Assessment Project

The City of Platte City, Missouri is seeking proposals from qualified professional consulting firms experienced  in evaluating the physical condition of municipal streets using automated, data gathering and evaluation technologies such as LIDAR, GSR or a technology providing comparable information.  City owns and maintains approximately 50 lane miles ( 25 centerline miles) of asphalt and concrete streets and alleys.

Project deliverables include street condition data gathering using LIDAR, GSR or similar technology which can be imported into the City’s Geographic Information System (GIS);  a visual representation of street conditions; and a user maintained spreadsheet of street conditions, maintenance recommendations and estimated maintenance costs.

Proposals  must be submitted by mail or by hand delivery to:

Proposals will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at which time proposals shall be opened for the sole purpose of publicly announcing responding firms. Proposal evaluations will be conducted at a later date with the intent to award agreement within 30 days of submission.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. and to waive any irregularities.  City has the sole authority to determine the proposal which best meets the needs of the City..
